Software Factory
To support its development Box Africa recruits a Front-End Mobile Android, Kotlin developer on a permanent contract with at least 5 years of experience. You will integrate a passionate software development team into a Scrum/Agile framework.
Role and responsability of developer Front end Mobile Android, kotlin
The developer will be asked to:
- Développer en Java Android ou Kotlin
- Interpret functional requirements/user stories into a deployable solution
- Provide estimations for assigned user stories and complete developments on time
- Préparer les conceptions pour les pages mobile
- Respect the technical constraints defined by the architectural design
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices adopted by the company.
- Perform unit tests of his own work and work with Software Quality (QA) team to correct defects
- Participate in the development of application architectures
- Participate in the design and development of mobile and web applications
- Participate in maintenance, upgrades and redesign of developed applications
Profile
We are looking for a profile with:
- Une connaissance solide de Java Android et/ou de Kotlin
- Mobile application development experience required
- Experience in application development using a Back End Firebase or MongoDB Atlas
- Experience in mobile GUI design
- Practical experience in implementing unit tests
- Experience in API and WebService consumption (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, websockets, etc.)
- Experience on one or more SQL databases (SQLite, SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle…) or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Hands-on experience with Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern front-end technologies such as Flutter, React, Vue, Angular
- Une connaissance de l'architecture MVVM serait un plus
- Good command of development tools: IDE, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- A good English level is also appreciated
