As part of the rapid development of its activities, Box Africa recruits Odoo Software Developer (Community and Enterprise) on permanent contracts. You will integrate a dynamic company led by a team of passionate. Full remote accepted.

Role and responsability of Odoo software developer

Your main tasks will be :

  • Develop new Odoo modules 
  • Integrate payment gateways to allow customers to securely transact online
  • Develop REST APIs to improve interoperability with other systems
  • Ensuring the safety and performance of the Odoo environment
  • Work in an agile environment to ensure fast and efficient delivery
  • Knowledge of GitOps and DevOps to improve the development and deployment of our applications
  • Knowing Odoo Enterprise from version 13 to later versions would be a plus
  • Knowing AWS or Azure architectures would be a plus

Skills

We are looking for a profile with : 

  • +3 years minimum experience in Odoo software developement
  • Knowledge of Odoo Enterprise from version 13 to later
  • Extensive knowledge of Odoo architecture and major accounting, sales, e-commerce, etc.
  • Extensive technical and functional knowledge of accounting and cash flow
  • Proficiency Python language 
  • Knowledge of Odoo architecture
  • Knowledge of Odoo modules (stock, sales, purchasing, accounting, human resources, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL database 
  • Knowledge of Odoo API 
  • Knowledge of web technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
  • Knowledge of Git development tools, PyCharm, etc.
  • Knowledge of Odoo Safety 
  • Knowledge of the Odoo environment (management of modules, addons, views, etc.)
  • Payment integration knowledge: For e-commerce sites, it is important to know how to integrate third-party payment providers with Odoo.
  • Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • DevOps knowledge would be a plus
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure architectures would be a plus
